You Are My Strength

Currently, most Hopies are going through 14 days of Fast and Prayer with the theme IGNITE. I am not sure what we should be praying for the church about, the good thing is, this made me look through the bulletin every time I pray, AMEN! I hope it will become a habit. I officially started FAP yesterday as I have been asking for God’s answer of where I should go and what I should do. During that period, I has been through some relationship problems and I has yet to seek for my parent’s salvation consistently. What a bad girl I am. =P

I have been crying to myself lately due to those problems, I felt I have just walked away from God during that period of time and I felt so sorry. However, it is through the constant praying, Bible reading and singing of worship songs then I realise God has been with me through these tough periods and He has been trying to comfort me. Thank you Heavenly Father, Amen.

This week, J4 is practising on the song You Are My Strength (Yes, this post’s title.) and One Way. I put You are my Strength as my post title to remind me that God is my strength, my comfort and my fortress. His love for us is stronger than the mountains and deeper than the oceans. I praise the Lord for His sacrifice and thank Him for the glory that He have given us faithful Christians.

Even thou I am still fighting with myself and my sinful nature, I am assured by God’s presence for Him to walk with me and grow with me.

Hopefully my drumming skills improve… It kinda sucks right now… Off to jamming now!!!

Ps. All Reader – I pray for the Lord to bless you and pray for your faith to look upon or seek God. He loves you, no, He loves us, from the sacrifice He made on the cross. Why not give Him that little step of faith, and seek Him? Will it kill you? NO! Our Lord is a loving God!!! AMEN!   =D
